A boutique D.C. law firm is seeking a Law Firm Administrator to join their team. This is a HYBRID (3 days in office,2 remote) opportunity with a great firm located in Dupont Circle! They are seeking someone to begin in January/February.
Status: Direct Hire
Salary: $100K-$150K DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Responsible for managing physical office, including maintaining adequate supplies, overseeing any office moves, liaising with building management, parking, security, oversee and manage relationship with IT service provider
- Human Resource Management: Including benefits administration, personnel data systems, job design, resource allocation, maintaining and updating policies and procedures manual, ensuring firm is in compliance with all employment laws, and other human resource management functions for all personnel; recruiting, training and development of staff, conducting staff performance evaluations, monitoring employee attendance, vacations, and other absences from office, counseling, disciplining, discharging, and exit interviews of staff
- Financial Management: Including managing AR and collections, running payroll and 401(k) administration, working with partners on setting and implementing billing rate increases, and other financial management functions as needed
- Marketing: Including working with website team and outside marketing agency, maintaining and managing mailing lists, drafting press releases, assisting with ranking and award submissions, planning client development efforts, assisting with responses to RFPs, and enhancing the firm's visibility and image
- Contract Management: Including overseeing, negotiating, and managing professional services contracts for subscription services (Westlaw, LEXIS, Centerbase, Saegis, NetDocs, etc.), IT services, professional liability, health, and other insurances, and similar contracts
- Culture: Including facilitating and ensuring a high level of employee morale and motivation, developing and implementing policies and procedures that support the firm's culture and values, and planning social events.
Job Requirements:
- 3-10 years of law firm office manager or administrator experience
- Proven time and project management skills with ability to effectively juggle competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Command of HR, finance, marketing, and general management matters
