Lawn Care and Landscape Associate
Summary
Responsible for directing the efforts of lawn care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
* Operate grounds maintenance equipment.
* Plan landscaping projects, including mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, and trimming.
* Mow lawns with riding and self-propelled walk behind mowers.
* Prune trees and shrubs.
* Trim bushes, pull weeds, and edge lawns using a variety of machines.
* Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
* Other duties assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required.
* Previous landscaping/lawn care experience required.
* Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.
* Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, general business instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
* Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Qualifications
Must maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance provider.
Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
