YOUNGSTOWN AREA GOODWILL INDUSTRIES, INC.Comprehensive Job DescriptionJob Title: Lawn Care Team MemberReport To: External Contracts ManagerJOB SUMMARYWe are looking for a lawn care team member to join Youngstown Area Goodwill's growing lawn services division! This seasonal position will be responsible for completing a variety of lawn care and landscaping duties to maintain the properties of our clients. This position will primarily cut grass using both zero-turn riding and push mowers, but will also be responsible for some edging, pruning, mulching and trimming. This position must also:
- Be willing to receive proper training and instruction.
- Mow grass.
- Trimming hedges and trees.
- Be comfortable operating lawn maintenance equipment.
- Properly store and handle all equipment, tools and supplies.
- Rake and remove leaves and debris.
- Collaborate with team to complete the required tasks at each job site.
- Complete log sheets, time cards and proper documentation.
- Perform other related responsibilities as needed.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE REQUIREDThis is a hands-on position that requires attention to safety and detail. This position will be part of a team, which requires skills in teamwork, time management and the ability to follow instructions. Other requirements include:
- Valid Driver's License required
- High school diploma preferred
- Relevant experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to drive pickup truck and lawn trailer a plus; CDL not required
