We are seeking an accomplished Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to take on the role of Director of Mental Health Services at a respected organization in the Bronx. This leadership role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in child welfare and foster care to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Mental Health Services department, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of mental health programs for children and families within a child welfare/ACS and foster care context.
- Supervise and mentor a team of mental health professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Work closely with other departments and external partners to enhance program delivery and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to Medicaid Managed Care requirements and maintain knowledge of evolving policies.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and operations to optimize service delivery and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
- SIFI certification (Seminar in Field Instruction) is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Child Welfare, ACS, and/or Foster Care settings.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicaid Managed Care.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
