As the Regional Lead Account Manager for VWR/Fisher, you'll represent our brand and move our mission forward, running a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing. As a senior member of our global sales team, you'll have a lasting impact on our business and work closely with our VPGM, Global Head of Sales, and GM in a high visibility role

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize a consultative sales process that introduces our products at bulk level applications

* Manage the customer sales forecast to ensure accuracy and alignment with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and provide accurate data to finance, ISC and sales management monthly, quarterly, and annually

* Be able to consistently achieve quarterly sales objectives while building pipeline for future periods

* Leverage existing network and build the understanding of the industry for segmentation data and market intelligence

* Research businesses and map organizations to understand likely needs, entry points and key decision makers

* Utilize effective written and verbal communication skills along with presentation skills to connect with prospective customers

* Leverage data and market intelligence to gain share of account or transition business to more profitable segments

* Develop effective account plans

* Share your passion for raising the bar of productivity and service to our target customers

* Advocate on behalf of our target customers with our product development team

* Collaborate with sales managers regionally and globally to gather information, provide direction/strategy, and ensure seamless coordination with customer.

* Help develop the channel strategy for the 2 large national NAM distributors

* Effectively manage multiple projects/initiatives internally across multiple different functions to support customer and business needs

YOU MUST HAVE

* 7+ years proven experience in sales with strong demonstrated results

* Contract Management experience / negotiating long-term agreements with external suppliers, customers and/or distributor partners in a Sales background

* Solid experience navigating strategic accounts

* Market knowledge of dynamics and key players in the market.

* Ability to influence decision makers throughout the chain

* Strong proficiency with CRM suite

* Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to present

* 25-35% travel required
