Lead Admission Admissions Specialists for Recruitment will also meet with high school students and their families, non-traditional students, school officials, community leaders, and business organizations to serve as the liaison between Jefferson State Community College and the Clanton/Pell City service area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students with admissions application and financial aid processes.Maintain records of recruitment activities and initiatives to include enrollment and retention data and enter prospective student data daily.Travel to Chilton and St. Clair area high schools and other locations to communicate program offerings, services available, and college policies to prospective students.Attend local awards ceremonies at high schools in the community.Assist with special recruitment events on campus such as Preview Days, Open Houses, etc.Assist in developing brochures, fliers, and related materials to promote admissions.Assist with planning and providing New Student Orientation.Promote positive campus/community relations for Enrollment Services and the college.Assist in ordering and maintaining recruiting supplies for the Recruiting Office. Represent the college at various programs and events.Assist during registration as needed.Provide or coordinate campus tours of the college.Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
