Job Description:
Title: Tech Lead - Android Software Engineer Location: Los Angeles, CA and New York City, NY Type: Full Time Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining the e-commerce module within the Client app, focusing on features such as product browsing, search functionality, and order placement to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Lead and oversee the development of the Client Shop, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.
  • Architect and design scalable and efficient solutions to improve user experience and application performance.
  • Guide and mentor a team of mobile developers, providing technical direction and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the highest level of application performance and stability.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the development process, implementing new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
Qualification:
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of Mobile App development experience and 1 year of experience of managing or tech-leading a software engineering team.
  • Extensive experience as a Mobile Developer, with a proven track record of leading successful mobile development projects.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Demonstrated experience with performance and memory tuning of complex applications.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience leading technical teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and across different teams.
