AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Lead Aviation Program Manager to join us at any location in US (Preferable location towards an AR Office Location). The Lead Aviation Program Manager will report to the National Aviation Market Sector Manager, to drive growth and development within the aviation market sector across the United States. This role is expected to be the connection between our aviation clients and their upcoming needs. The Lead Aviation Program Manager is expected to focus on a variety of roles: program delivery, business development, and client account management.About UsAtkinsRéalis is one of the world's most respected design, engineering, and project management consultancies. AtkinsRéalis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.How will you contribute to the team?Program Delivery* Lead a multi-discipline team through the Design, Procurement, and Construction phases of aviation programs.* Create and maintain an attitude of leadership towards the contractor's project team with respect to overall management activities to achieve quality programs, while respecting the established budget and schedule objectives.* Responsible for planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing and delivering aviation programs and its activities in accordance with the goals of the organization.* Oversight of scheduling/cost controllers and activities. This person will work with SMEs, estimators, and procurement present accurate project budgets.* Meets client's objectives by preparing Program Initiation and Program Management Plan, executing plan requirements, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.* Achieve efficiencies by accepting responsibility and accountability for results, accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the organization.* Develop and execute a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas to target for improvement.* Responsible for planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing and delivering aviation programs and its activities in accordance with the goals of the organization.* Interfaces with the Executive sponsors, business leaders and stakeholders to make sure all requirements captured.* Preparing and completing action plans; implementing and reporting on production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying risks, resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining improvements; implementing change.Business Development and Client Account Management* Build client relationships within the aviation marketplace. Develop into being a trusted advisor within the industry.* Tracking potential clients project needs and capital planning programs, specifically large and medium hub airports.* Meeting with clients and developing relationships on coordinated marketing visits.* Participate and attend events and conferences.* Provide and organize client presentations and lesson learned activities.* Coordinate with internal resources and other business lines to promote overall market sector growth with our clients.* Engage with local marketplace with MWDBE partners through regular meetings or planned ATKINSREALIS events.* Develop business plans for different services offerings, including the digital transformation of our aviation clients.* Serve as capture manager on specific project proposals across the US.* Engage technical resources to create innovative client responses.* Coordinate with legal, project controls, and operational staff for proper vetting of each opportunity* Collaborate with marketing, project manager, and other staff needed for proposal responses.* Lead interview and presentations preparations for project opportunities.Other* Recommendations for and Recruiting Staff - Seek out and provide recommendations for potential new staff (all levels and practices) toward promoting growth at ATKINSREALIS.* Culture Leadership - Connect with other staff routinely to provide a sense of inclusion. Maintain connectivity with staff at other ATKINSREALIS offices in the US.* Growth - Responsible for supporting the growth, strategy, and sale of ATKINSREALIS's services to the Aviation sector, including key strategic customers and partners in the US.What will you contribute?* Bachelor's degree in field of practice. Graduate degree preferred. Management coursework and/or MBA a plus.* This level may be achieved by technical professionals or managers with fifteen years of experience since B.S. or fourteen years since M.S., with at least two of these years in the Senior Program Manager position with highly complex project management responsibility.* Availability to travelInternal Coordination - Meet monthly with the other business lines and market sector leaders in the region to ensure strategic business growth for the PMCM business in Aviation.Relationship Building - Builds strong relationships and interacts with clients, teaming partners, industry groups, and stakeholders linked to the Aviation industry, serving as an ambassador for ATKINSREALIS.
