Join Our Team: Lead Carpenter Position Available at Morgan's Constructive Solutions LLC!Job Title: Lead Carpenter Company Name: Morgan's Constructive Solutions LLCSalary: $24/hour and up Based on ExperiencedFull Job DescriptionMorgan's Constructive Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Skilled Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. You will ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.Who we are: Morgan's Constructive Solutions, LLC (DBA Sandia Mountain Solar) is a General and Solar Construction company that is licensed as a general, electrical, and mechanical contractor. We work throughout the state of New Mexico for residential and commercial clients. Our construction services include but are not limited to bathroom and kitchen remodeling, decks, doors and windows, flooring installations, civil dirt work, and site layouts. Our Solar Systems services include but are not limited to grid-tied, off-grid, battery back-up, carports, ground mounts, and roof-mounted (flat and pitched)Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
  • Material Calculation: Take accurate measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for projects.
  • Material Shaping: Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to precise measurements.
  • Construction: Build staircases, brattices, frame buildings, and other structures using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
  • Installation: Install flooring such as hardwood or tile, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulation.
  • Inspection & Maintenance: Inspect products and perform repairs or maintenance as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Travel: Be willing to travel throughout the state for out-of-town work as necessary.
  • Knowledge & Training: Maintain knowledge of safety procedures and participate in staff training and meetings as scheduled.
  • Directive Following: Follow supervisory/administrative directives and instructions.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Experience: Extensive construction experience is required, with a wide range of experience in the industry preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to use carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and climbing.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel for out-of-town work and adapt to varying project requirements.
  • With valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Schedule:
  • Forty hours per week is standard
  • Overtime is rare but may happen
  • 8-10 hour shifts, depending on project
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday.
Work Location:
