Lead Certified Medical Assistant/LPN must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and Certified or Registered or current NC LPN. Minimum of 6 months prior medical experience, with a preference of at least one year. Knowledge of medications and the ability to interpret laboratory data, as well as functional utilization of acquired information the delivery of patient care. Venipuncture skills are preferred. AHA and BLS certification required. The ability to multitask, including a high level of performance in computing skills, and proficiency in billing assistance.
In addition to functioning as a CMA or LPN, this lead position will assist the Clinic Manager with interview/hiring process, the implementing of policies and procedures, training of new staff members, providing feedback for annual employee evaluations, providing notification of patient safety concerns, and areas for process improvement.
