POSITION SUMMARYThe Team Leader, under management of the Director / manager, serves as the highest level of support to all customers. The Team Leader is the top level expert supporting multiple end user groups. This position leads user groups to identify and solve business problems with all available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The Team Leader requires expertise in workflow development related to process analysis, design, problem-solving, training and support, in health care environment. The Team Leader will also have highly developed skills and experience in business management, operations, project management, and communication in order to ensure optimal and most efficient user of the Electronic Health Record.This position typically requires specialization in multiple software or business applications utilized in an end user environment. Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications and uses that information to proactively initiate enhancements and workflows to mitigate against future problems. Is required to coach and mentor less senior support professionals.This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.This position works independently. This position requires on-call responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Healthcare related field required. 10 years of related healthcare information systems experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
