About the job Lead Cloud Architect Job title: Lead Cloud ArchitectLocation: Waller, TX This is a contract position. Detailed description/responsibilities:Knowledge & Skills:•Solid Experience in designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining AWS or relevant based serverlets cloud solutions for consumer IoT devices•Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally•Knowledge of engineering best practices•Delegation the individual delegates work assignments, gives authority to work independently, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities•Strong written and verbal communication skills•Strong large scale change management skills•Consulting, conflict management, business literacy, verbal / written communication, flexibility, and strong relationship skills•Knowledge and experience in HVAC control and refrigeration systems are preferred•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communications.•Be able to work a flexible schedule•Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment•Strong critical thinking skills•Creative problem-solving skills•Experience with DevOps tools and processes like Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines•Must demonstrate proficiency in architecting large scale solutions using infrastructure automation techniques on on premise and hybrid cloud services: AWS, Microsoft Azure•Must have worked in cloud development and deployment environments AWS preferred•Experience in modern front-end web and mobile application development react native, SWIFT, Kotlin, JavaScript•Experience with multiple database management systems, including MySQL, NoSQL, and different cloud databases.•Excellent software development experience OO design, web services development using REST and SOAPExperience:•10 plus years of software development experience•5 plus years of technical leadership and cloud architecture experienceEducation:•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required•Master of Science preferred but not required
