Position Summary
To provide for the day-to-day cares of the residents/tenants in accordance with established company policies and procedures, standards, and guidelines; and current federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the campus and as directed by the supervisor by performing the following duties.
In this role you will:Serve as a mentor and trainer for new CNAs joining the teamSupervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance of new CNAsRound in resident care areas to ensure quality nursing assistant services are being deliveredProvide leadership in executing the goals and objectives of the nursing assistant onboarding program to include but not limited to setting expectations to meet standards of the facility: dress code, attendance, communication and professionalism.Ensure that training is carried out with professionalism, enthusiasm and energyConduct group huddles for educational needs
Assist with group in-services and competencies as requested by nursing leadership
As a mentor, will still routinely complete all routine CNA duties and responsibilities whether assigned a mentee or not
When not acting in a mentor capacity, will be part of the regular CNA staffing rotation
