The position will focus on providing strategic legal counseling to internal commercial teams in order to help sell a suite of SaaS products and services as well as service our in-house venture fund and Proptech incubator. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing legal team in an exciting, fast-paced tech focused environment.This strategic role reports directly to JLL Technologies' General Counsel.The Responsibilities
Structuring, drafting, and discussing complex customer agreements for SaaS and other technology enabled products and services, professional services agreements, data processing agreements, intellectual property agreements, and statements of work. Leading a small but high performing team of counsel and paralegals. Managing agreements that comply with company policies/risk tolerances and support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes. Knowledge of US laws and regulations as they apply to SaaS service providers, including privacy, data management, security, and compliance requirements, as well as the supervisory bodies that issue such regulations. Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management on all commercial matters. Keep abreast of legislative changes and proactively make recommendations for policy or product changes required to protect JLL Technologies. Provide training to the business in relation to legal and risk issues.
