We are seeking a Lead Estimator to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in driving the success of our projects by managing the estimating process from start to finish. This is a leadership position that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

A Few Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for infrastructure improvement projects, including concrete, underground utilities, and general construction
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand scope and requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with project goals and budgets
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing
  • Continuously evaluate and improve estimating processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency

About You:

  • 7+ years of experience in construction estimating
  • Proven experience with municipal and commercial projects is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
