OverviewExciting Opportunity to Join a Leading Nationwide Dermatology Company with Promising Growth Potential!About the role: The Lead Construction Project Manager will oversee the current Construction Process and lead the Construction Project Managers. As a Lead position, in addition to managing projects, they will be responsible for ensuring the development of standards, cost containment, and will ensure the completion of all projects are completed on time, and on budget. Performs capital/conceptual planning, project planning, design, construction, equipment planning, and activation. Uses project management methodologies and maintains consistent quality standards resulting in customer satisfaction, and fulfillment of project objectives. This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position with 40-50% travel with an occasional Sunday evening departure. ResponsibilitiesLeadership
- As the Team Lead, is responsible for the organization's portfolio of construction projects.
- Leads a group of Construction Project Managers, including (but not limited to): assigning projects, developing schedules, tracking projects to schedules, and correcting as needed, tracking projects to budgets and correcting as needed.
- Manages the day-to-day flow of the construction process.
- Creates, and distributes the departments Metrics/KPI's
- Leads the team in process improvement, including standardization and cost improvements.
- In collaboration with the Senior Director of Facilities, is responsible for developing team members, and the department engagement.
Project Management
- Manages the development of detailed and specific project requirements inclusive of scope, schedule, cost, communication, human resources, quality, procurement, and risks. Defines specific requirements for project integration and phasing.
- Oversees and coordinates detailed design efforts including preparation of specifications, construction documents, and refined cost estimates.
- Manages the construction efforts of contractors, and activities and deliverables of the project core team. Coordinates specific requirements for project integration and phasing.
- Ensures adherence to accepted safety practices.
- Collaborates with customers and key stakeholders on specific equipment requirements and manages development of equipment plans including existing equipment inventory, new equipment specifications, and procurement.
- Guides customers and key stakeholders through move planning, asset disposition, and training in preparation for operational turnover. Oversees physical move and customer occupancy.
- Assists system facilities management teams with small to medium sized remodel projects, commissioning initiatives, and energy management and building sustainability.
- Assists divisions with space allocation and utilization requests. Works collaboratively on overall system space management.
- Works collaboratively with the Purchasing department to ensure timely completion, and receiving of requisitions, and P.O.'s.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Facility or Construction management, Business, or closely related field or equivalent experience.Associates degree may be considered with 5+ years' experience, or Certification in Project Management in a related field.Must have AutoCAD experienceExcellent Excel skillsHealthcare project managment experience a plus
