We have also received certification by The Joint Commission incollaboration with the American Stroke Association as a Primary Stroke Center.**The ro** **le you'll contribute:**Responsible for supervising the daily operations in the CT areas to assuresmooth and efficient flow including maintenance of supplies within designatedbudget. Performs the imaging of both neuro and body scans following theAdventHealth parameters, buildingperformance of complicated 3D and CTAstudies and performs QA audits. Utilizes the hospital performance improvementprocess in the goals of Imaging Services. Provides supervision to employees,encourages employee engagement and patient satisfaction initiatives.Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport withall referring physicians, hospital, and commercial agencies. Meets withcustomers and partners to assure service levels are maintained (Rounding).Actively participates in outstanding customer service and acceptsresponsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful toall.**The valu** **e you'll bring to the team:**· Performs all exams, on all types of patients: IP, OP and ED; usingAdventHealth CT protocols. Follows AdventHealth policy for properidentification of patient prior to performing exam. Educates patientconcerning exam. Properly screens patient for contrast allergies. Starts IVsand uses power injectors. Performs complicated 3D and CTA studies.· Completes all exams in a timely manner, keeps work flow moving, andminimizes empty table time. Follows through after completing exam withcommunication, transportation and discharge of outpatients. Monitors dailytime and attendance. Orders supplies.· Performs all types of CT imaging procedures and operates all equipmentsafely and properly including scanners, injectors and monitors. Demonstratesthe knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adaptingprotocols as necessary **.** Serves as clinical instructor.· Properly screens patients of childbearing age, and operates all imagingequipment in a safe manner minimizing radiation exposure to patients,families, and co-workers. Maintains properly stocked, organized and cleanroom.
