Role and Responsibilities:

The Lead Stocker will work with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to oversee daily commissary operations. A commissary is a grocery store located on a military installation that primarily serves members of the military, their families, and authorized personnel.

* Work with a team that primarily composed of individuals with disabilities

* Supervises commissary employees in various locations throughout the building

* Uses customer service skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members of the public

* Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, staffing, and controlling the operations of the facility

* Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility as well as obtaining and maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the company

* Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices

* Trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned commissary staff

* Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance

* Opens and closes locks and unlocks facilities as needed

* Keeps records of work completed

* Perform any other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications Requirements:

* Must have a valid driver's license.

* Forklift Operator certification (Preferred).

* Minimum of (1) Years' supervisory experience

Physical Demands:

* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.

* Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to fifty (25) lbs.

* Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
