Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and Develop Your Team: Motivate and mentor a team of Showroom Specialists, providing guidance and support to enhance their design skills and customer service abilities while fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
  • Enhance Operational Efficiency: Oversee the daily operations of the showroom, actively seeking opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to streamline processes for a more efficient and effective workflow.
  • Manage Inventory and Product Displays: Partner with our Principal Designer to monitor showroom inventory levels, ensuring a well-curated selection of furniture and decor is always available. Together, create visually stunning displays that showcase our unique offerings and create an inspiring atmosphere for clients.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Engage with clients through personalized consultation to help them articulate their design preferences and choose standout furniture and decor pieces. Foster genuine connections by creating memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits and ongoing engagement.
  • Strategic Events and Partnerships: Develop and implement strategies for hosting showroom events that highlight key partnerships and engage the community. Focus on creating meaningful experiences that showcase our brand, strengthen relationships with partners, and attract new clientele.
  • Encourage Team Innovation: Promote a culture of collaboration and creativity within the team, encouraging input and ideas to continually enhance the showroom experience and operations.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Interior Design preferred; equivalent practical experience in a design-adjacent field will also be considered.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in interior design, staging, or a related area, with a passion for furniture and decor; plus 2+ years of management or supervisory experience demonstrating effective team leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of furniture, decor, finishes, and materials, with the ability to create inspiring showroom displays that resonate with clients.
  • Extensive experience in customer service, skilled at engaging clients, understanding their needs, and fostering positive interactions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a keen eye for detail and deadlines.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments, with a self-directed, resourceful, and proactive approach, thriving under pressure and effectively managing shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with both clients and internal teams.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with design software (SketchUp, Chief Architect, Canva, etc ) and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Google Workspace) to enhance workflows and communication.
