Position Summary

As the Director overseeing the Care Management Analytics portfolio, you will be responsible for leading the execution and strategy for a team focused on designing, managing, and synthesizing internal and external analytics across the products within our existing Payor Solutions product portfolio.

You will develop the reporting and analytics method and framework strategy to ensure various plans are achieved: refine requirements that tie to product design, ensure requirements are synthesized across the entire portfolio, and prioritize report delivery. Additionally, you will lead the effort to monitor data trends to ensure the products are aligned with the financial expectations of our clients.

Through your leadership and direction, you will leverage your comprehensive understanding of products and the marketplace to diagnose and resolve analytical opportunities within the product portfolio, partnering with colleagues across the enterprise to drive results.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Intake all analytics requests: prioritize importance based on portfolio strategy, determine if the request matches product intent, define high level request into more specific functional requirements. Instill processes in place to ensure that all contractual and committed work is tracked in a visible and easy to maintain manner.
  • Partner with technologists: ensure analytics is built using a synergized methodology, correct data tables, correct logic, and that the output is aligned with expectations. Also, ensure that production logic maintained continues to hit client contracted deliverables month over month. Ensure that all logic is coded, and changes are documented appropriately so all have same view of what is in production and why.
  • Conduct UAT and monitor outcomes: validate that all methodology and tooling is aligned with requirements and aligns with product value story. Monitor outcomes of product performance consistently.
  • Product Analytics Positioning: Align across teams and enterprise to lead efforts to develop and launch product analytics harmonization strategy. Position product portfolio in a way which clarifies and simplifies portfolio for sales team and clients, driving better patient outcomes, client savings and enterprise EBIT.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Influence product colleagues, sales teams and clients around ways to ensure the value story of products are always up to date and aligned with the portfolio. Adapt communication style to audience, tailoring message and approach depending on team with whom Director is engaging.
  • Build and Develop Key Relationships: Leverage best talent with a range of diverse background and experiences to achieve analytical agenda and goals. Ensure matrix team is properly staffed and allocated to deliver against highest-priority technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years leading a team
  • 5+ years leading cross-functional initiatives and driving innovation.
  • 5+ years - Experience working in the healthcare industry. Preferably with payor agnostic products, payers, health product, PBM, or healthcare operations
  • 1+ years - working with a geographically diverse team of primarily Work-from-Home colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating buy-in and engagement across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and mitigate effectively.
  • Ability to manage current delivery as well as develop plan for strategic decisions, projects, or process changes.
  • Ability to instill process and tracking of all deliverables managed by the team.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including active listening, self-management and awareness, emotional intelligence, and ability to flex interpersonal style.

Education: Bachelors required/Masters Preferred

Location: This position ideally will be hybrid - both WFH as well as working from a CVS Health corporate location in Boston, Chicago, North Carolina, or New York.

Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
