Job Title: Lead Drafting Engineer Company/Industry: Construction/Millwork Locations: Proximity to Patchogue, NY Salary: $90-140K/yr Competitive, commensurate with experience, inclusive of benefits Status: Direct hire, FT on-site Mon-Fri As a Lead Drafting Engineer, you will lead and supervise a team of Drafters and Engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise to ensure successful project outcomes. This role requires someone with substantial experience in high-end luxury millwork drafting and thorough knowledge of architectural hardware and custom details. Responsibilities • Overseeing the drafting department by reviewing all drafting and mark-up details as needed. • In charge of determining all engineering of millwork and specifying architectural hardware. • Communicating effectively with the Drafting team, Designers, Executive Team, and Shop. • Drafting custom-made kitchens and other architectural millwork using AutoCAD and in-house CAM-based 3D software. Qualifications • Proficiency in AutoCAD, drafting/engineering kitchens, and other architectural millwork. • Substantial knowledge of architectural hardware. • Availability to start work at 7 am and work overtime as needed. • Supervisory experience desired • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles • Excellent leadership and communication skills Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 Per Year
