Lead Electrical and Controls Engineers. These positions will be working out of their clients manufacturing facility in Mehoopany, PAPrimary Responsibilities:
- Work at an on-site manufacturing environment to support plant operations and engineering initiatives
- Hardware and software engineering for new and retrofit industrial projects and electrical systems including low voltage (600 VAC) power distribution, network communications, line control, and motion control
- Programming, design, and updating of PLC, HMI, VFD, and Servo Motion related projects from hardware design, software integration through construction support and project start-up
- Specification of components to achieve client requests
- Modifications or upgrades to existing control systems as specified by the client
- Direct designer level resources
- Provide installation and start up support, could include nights and weekends
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects and client teams
- Work directly with client to resolve conflicts and strengthen the Company-Client relationship
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
- 15 years of recent experience with specifying, installing, and troubleshooting machine and process controls systems
Required Recent Experience with the Following:
- Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View HMI systems
- Low voltage (up to 600 VAC) power distribution systems with exposure to facilities electrical systems including: HVAC, lighting, power, communications, security, fire, supervisory systems, transformers, panel boards, grounding systems, capacitor banks, etc.
- Ethernet and/or ControlNet communications
- VFD and motor control
- NEC/NFPA 79 Electrical Standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- General machine safety experience
Preferred Recent Experience with the Following:
- Rockwell variable frequency and servo drives
- Distributed Controls Systems (DCS)
- Client Experion configuration/programming
- Historian Product programming experience (Wonderware, Intellution, Proficy)
- Motor Control Center (MCC) specification and design
- Medium voltage (up to 15 kV) power distribution systems
- Robotics
- Vision Systems
- Networking
- Hazardous area classification
