We're proud to offer many development and advancement opportunities to our nearly 50,000 members of the Sanford Family who are dedicated to the work of health and healing across our broad footprint.Work Shift:8 Hours - Day Shifts (United States of America)Scheduled Weekly Hours:40Salary Range: $24.00 - $34.50Union Position: NoDepartment DetailsSummaryProvides subject matter expertise in federal, state and local regulations and industry best practice for all areas of assigned responsibilities including but not limited to the Joint Commission standards, OSHA, Life Safety Code, Department of Health, Department of Transportation, CMS Requirements of Participation and Conditions of Participation, Facility services, and building security and safety services.Job DescriptionEnsures a healthy and safe work environment by developing and maintaining the appropriate programs, policies and procedures in compliance with all applicable regulations. Provides technical support for facility systems and program support for all assigned areas of responsibility.Maintains, supports and conducts education and training programs in assigned areas of responsibilities for field locations. Provides consultation to all field service lines in order to identify safety risks and make recommendations to address issues.Participates in accident and security investigations as necessary. Familiar with a variety of operational concepts, practices and procedures. Prioritizes, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities and monitors and summarizes progress of projects. Relies on experience, judgment, and organizational objectives to plan and accomplish goals. Understands a systems approach to problem solving and process improvement involving staff. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects. Ensures completion and documentation of Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
