Black Diamond Financial, LLC is a private wealth management firm managing over $1 billion on behalf of clients with a unique and holistic focus on preserving and enhancing wealth.

We are seeking to add a Lead Financial Advisor to our Bend, Oregon office. The Lead Financial Advisor is an important position within the firm. This position will work closely with the executive team including the firm's founder, Matt Goette, on business development, team management and supervision, investment evaluation, portfolio management, presentation creation, marketing, and client service. We are open to experienced professionals looking for an exciting career changing opportunity. This position can lead to equity ownership in the firm.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Significant professional and leadership experience in client-focused industries including, but not limited to investment banking, accounting, finance, law, investment management, management consulting, private banking, commercial banking, insurance, etc.
  • Significant client generation experience and established track record
  • Strong leadership, team management and communication skills with internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage teams
  • Understanding our investing philosophy and having a passion for investing
  • Ongoing interaction and relationship building skills with attorneys, accountants, consultants, bankers, and other service providers
  • Qualifications and professional designations in your respective industry

Required Background:

Candidates for this role will have a history of high achievement demonstrated by a proven record of rapid advancement in exceeding goals and outperforming peers. The ideal candidate has 9 plus years of experience and will have qualifications and professional designations in their respective industry.

The ideal candidate will bring to the role extensive professional business experience, financial knowledge, a team-oriented approach and a strong work ethic. Other success attributes candidates should possess are:

  • Bachelor's degree and professional designations
  • Strong analytical ability and demonstrated sound judgment in dealing with clients
  • Highly organized and must possess exceptional technical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities with the ability to independently manage and interpret data
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Team player with the flexibility to independently manage work and complete time sensitive tasks
  • High professional standards, honesty and integrity
