Job DescriptionCasino Food Service is a place where everyone works hard to be the very best by being the friendliest and cleanest Casino Food Court in the United States.   • Provide ongoing training to the attendants/cooks on the technical and service aspects of the position
  • Ensure departmental goals are communicated, understood and met by attendants/cooks
  • Ensure every Guest is thanks for their business and invited to return by the attendants assisting them
  • Counsel attendants/cooks on work related concerns and issues to ensure satisfaction and productivity are maintained at a high standard, enlisting the assistance of management as needed
  • Provide production direction to attendants/cooks in a clear and concise way, encourage ideas on improving productivity and efficiency
  • Set an example for attendants/cooks by working hard to implement shift plans and ensure swift and smooth production
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in food preparation to increase speed of service
  • Demonstrate patience and a positive attitude with attendants/cooks while delegating tasks and giving instructions
  • Work with attendants/cooks to act on Guest feedback and resolve Guest complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner
  • Direct attendants/cooks to do what it takes to maintain equipment cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Takes initiative to immediately report violations of safety, sanitation or security policies to management and perform short-term solutions
  • Helps to remove performance barriers and provide resources for the venue to perform well
  • Act as a supervisor on duty when supervisor is not present. Perform comps and voids as needed in compliance with departmental regulations; address any guest service issues ensure the higherst level of guest service is achieved
  • Complete additional duties as required

  • Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years food service experience with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong communication skill both verbally and through written communications.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and communicate to departmental staff in a professional and clear manner.
  • Full knowledge of all relevant federal, state and local regulations and sanitation standards.
