LEAD FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT - ORACLE FUSION HCM CLOUD

Location: Remote

Duration: 2 Year

The Lead Functional Consultant - Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud performs a lead role in driving the business analysis function of the CPS ERP Modernization Program for the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM-related cloud services, including HCM, Recruiting, Workforce Compensation, Payroll, Time and Labor, Talent Management, and Learning Cloud Services.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead assigned project and application support teams to deliver high-quality systems solutions in support of modernizing CPS Enterprise HCM. Including:
  • ‘Content rich' people leading the upcoming implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP platform and play a dual role of an experienced business analyst and project lead responsible for successful design, implementation, and ongoing support of this platform.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Talent department in analyzing “as-is” state, defining the “to-be” state, and relevant data conversions, integrations and reporting requirements.
  • Work with PMO to define a detailed project plan and track milestones against it for on-time, and on-budget delivery of business requirements.
  • Own the ‘green field' implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM ERP cloud and provide hands-on product expertise to the HR and finance functional users and IT technical staff to gather detailed functional and technical requirements.
  • Be involved in implementation of third-party partner/system integrator evaluation and selection process.
  • Educate and assist the talent team to implement key business process flows based on the best practices embedded in the Oracle Fusion HCM related cloud services.
  • Direct analysis and shaping business requirements to determine most optimal product implementation by driving functional and technical design discussions with Talent, Finance and IT.
  • Facilitate workshops on Key Design Decisions and Enterprise Level Decision Making and reporting Structures to ensure a solid foundation for current and future business needs.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis of standard out-of-the box delivered functionality of the cloud products against business requirements for subsequent solution and design effort.
  • Eliminate those gaps either by changing existing business processes or building new extensions to the base cloud product without deviating too far from Oracle Fusion ERP cloud product roadmap.
  • Work closely with implementation partner/system integrator to ensure various functional setups, technical work artifacts and project documents are produced as per the requirements.
  • Responsible for preparing data for data migration from legacy Oracle system to Oracle Fusion Including but not limited to extracting data, cleansing data, transforming data, and using load tools.
  • Post data conversion, work with Team members to reconcile data for completeness, integrity, and quality before going into production.
  • Assist Talent department with end user functional, system integration and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Work with other internal users and implementation partners/system integrators to refine reporting requirements, drive data conversion, integration with other 3rd party systems.
  • Routinely review Oracle Fusion product release notes, roadmap documents to drive consumption of innovation in future releases of the product and implement if applicable.
  • Drive a cadence of regression testing for each quarterly product release cycle.
  • Maintain all implementation and post-implementation documentation.
  • Perform hands-on work including but not limited to doing functional setups, create sandboxes, writing solution design documents and reports etc.
  • Help administer the Oracle Cloud environment along with the IT Operational Team.
  • Responsible for working within a development and test environments to manage scheduled changes, patching, and enhancements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven experience leading initial requirements analysis effort, documenting as-is and to-be business analysis and requirements using Azure DevOps or similar tool.
  • Support key design decisions in terms of in-scope and out-of-scope determination of applications and functional modules.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with ERP Cloud implementation teams, system integrator firms including dispersed, remote nearshore, offshore, and other 3rd party partners.
  • Experience implementing ERP Applications in HCM, Recruiting, Workforce Compensation, Payroll, Time and Labor, Talent Management, and Learning Cloud.
  • Experience with ERP Cloud implementation methods.
  • Solid Experience with data conversions, integrations with Oracle Fusion using FBDI, Open Interfaces, REST APIs.
  • Experience with building custom extensions to Oracle Fusion ERP utilizing Personalization's, Fusion Sandboxs, Oracle PaaS/IaaS services.
  • Expertise in one or more of the key HCM business process flows for example Onboarding, Talent Management, and Learning Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Has experience as a Cloud Administrator with a working knowledge of Fusion Security Console, Cloud security, MFA, and SSO.
  • Has expertise in creating reports using some combination of OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS, SmartView and other standard Oracle reporting tools.
  • Has practical experience with Oracle processes and tables and APIs for Oracle Fusion HCM and Financial modules.
  • Possesses strong Analytics and SQL skills with an understanding of data models, data migration, and data clean-up for databases of various types.
  • Prior experience in working at system integrator/implementation partner firms will have added advantages.
  • Experience with rapid and incremental implementation methodologies. Conversant with agile development methodologies and elicitation and documentation of Epics, Features, User Stories, and Use Case Scenarios using appropriate tools including Jira/Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
Type of Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud implementation are desirable.
Type of Experience and Number of Years:
  • One end-to-end full life cycle recent experience in the capacity of Lead Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant implementing Oracle Fusion HCM related cloud services including HCM, Recruiting, Workforce Compensation, Payroll, Time and Labor, Talent Management, and Learning Cloud.
  • At least five (5) years of experience as Lead Functional Consultant implementing Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud Products and Services.
  • Ten (10) years of experience performing the role of a Functional Consultant implementing Oracle ERP HCM-related systems.
  • At least fifteen (15) years of demonstrated experience as a Functional Consultant.
  • Experience with integrations between Oracle Fusion and 3rd party systems.
  • Experience in Education (K-12) ERP Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation, preferred.
