Our vision for the next shift between humans and computing requires innovation across multiple emerging technologies in hardware and software, from devices to cloud services.About the RoleWe are looking for a Lead Global Supply Chain Manager with expertise in managing Contract Manufacturing (CM) and Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM) partners. This role is central to building and optimizing manufacturing relationships while ensuring alignment with business strategies. Reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain, you will be responsible for supplier management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful delivery of our products.What You Might DoManage the supply chain process end-to-end with full accountability for key CM/JDM partners.Lead the RFQ/RFP processes and manage the selection of CM/JDM partners in collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and Business teams.Negotiate contracts with CM/JDM partners, aligning agreements with business objectives.Build and maintain executive relationships with CM/JDM partners to ensure product development, planning, and fulfillment needs are met.Drive cost reductions through negotiation and optimization strategies with partners.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to monitor partner performance through Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), SLAs, and KPIs.Ensure the sourcing strategy aligns with the company's focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), time-to-market, quality, compliance, and performance metrics.Manage Component BOMs (CBOMs) with internal teams and suppliers, focusing on excess and obsolescence mitigation, purchase price variance, and scrap reduction.Oversee supplier scorecards to drive continuous improvement.Support supply chain transitions and manufacturing line moves to new regions as needed.Essential QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent practical professional experience.7+ years of supply chain management experience, including CM and JDM oversight.Extensive experience with global suppliers and overseas manufacturing operations.Proven ability to innovate and optimize outsourced manufacturing operations in high-tech environments.Excellent contract negotiation and executive relationship management skills.Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including BOM management, regulatory compliance, quality management, and logistics.Advanced project management, analytical, and reporting skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging senior executives.Experience in manufacturing line transitions across countries or regions.Preferred SkillsExperience working in consumer electronics or other technology-driven industries.Familiarity with NPI (New Product Introduction) processes and collaborative supply chain design.Expertise in cross-functional collaboration, working with operations, engineering, and business teams.Salary Range: $190,000 - $235,000Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)The salary range for this role is listed above.
