Description The Melting Pot is a high-end restaurant in the heart of Bricktown next to the Bricktown Canal. We cater to our guests and aim to make their experience with us the Perfect Night Out . We are looking for a host/hostess who can lead our team of hostesses to success in executing these standards. The host/hostess's role in our restaurant is pivotal to our guests' experiences because they are the first and most critical interaction that our guests will have with the restaurant; they need to be knowledgeable, polite, charming, and accommodating. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in customer service, is adaptable, and can lead/teach other host/hostesses. We are looking for a kind person that can integrate into our staff and naturally take on a leadership role. Either Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday, 11 AM - 6 PM Starting at $14 + commission DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep all menus clean and organized
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
- Run Open Table System
- Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
- Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed
- Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Be able to answer phones promptly and with a cheerful demeanor
- Assist other FOH staff to perform setting up the restaurant, cleaning the restaurant, and rolling silverware
- Communicate guest questions or concerns with management
- Inspect the dining area to ensure proper cleanliness
- Receive guest's calls and book reservations for them
- Review restaurant operations to improve efficiency and increase the dining flow to maximize customer satisfaction
- Oversee the restaurant's retail inventory and restock items
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Age: 18+
- Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
- Can work without supervision
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Can follow instructions properly and ask questions if needed
- 1-2 years of experience is required
