About ABC: The Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is dedicated to ensuring that every child has a joyful, healthy, and safe life through compassionate and innovative programs since 1986. ABC is currently seeking a lead infant/toddler teacher at the Graham School at Echo Park (1841 Park Avenue) in the Early Childhood/Early Head Start program.

Teachers in the Early Head Start program at the Graham School work as a team with children birth-age 3.

Responsibilities of the teacher include:

  • Lesson planning, conducting assessment, and curriculum implementation
  • Maintaining a safe, organized learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate and timely classroom records/documentation

Qualifications of the teacher:

  • A minimum of an infant/toddler CDA (Child Development Associate) OR AA in ECE
  • NYS Early Childhood Educator license preferred OR TA Certificate OR Certificate in process with a study plan
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Being joyous with children and maintaining high standards, non-negotiable.

Salary: $32,888 - $50,000 per year (dependent on credential)
