Intake Specialist (BCBA Student or BCBA preferred)Brooklyn, NY$30 - $42 per Hr.Responsibilities:Conduct intake interviews with new clients and their families, often in their homesGather and document necessary information for new client assessmentsCoordinate and schedule initial assessments for prospective clientsCollaborate with the clinical team to facilitate client transitions into the programManage and organize intake documentation and client recordsProvide outstanding customer service to prospective clients and their familiesHandle phone inquiries and occasionally respond to after-hours callsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field prefferedPrevious experience in client intake, preferably in a healthcare or ABA settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesFamiliarity with autism spectrum disorders and related servicesNon-judgmental and sympathetic demeanorAbility to work in various home environments with a positive attitudecar neededFull-time position, typically 9-5 or 9-6, with occasional evening workMix of office-based work and home visits
