**SCOPE OF ROLE:**

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Lead Inventory Associate will be part of the Inventory Team responsible for inventory related activities for all components and finished goods. The Lead Inventory Associate will be able to demonstrate expertise across all areas of the warehouse to include but not limited to shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory management, and systems transactions. In addition, the Lead Inventory Associate will coordinate with the manufacturing team, customer service and other support groups. Candidates for this role will need to demonstrate a strong desire to lead others, good initiative, sound judgement and an ability to lead fellow team members through ambiguous circumstances. The ability to work well with adjacent departments and lead other team members is a critical part of success in this role.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**

* Tactical decision making

* Train new employees

* Move/shift labor as needed to support the warehouse operation

* Serve as the go-to team member for tactical decisions on a daily basis.

* Work with other warehouse leads to balance labor and shift needs.

* Receiving of inbound parts, components and consumable items.

* Shipping of outbound parts and finished goods.

* Investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies.

* Demonstrate expertise in essential warehouse systems including JDE, Precision, SpecMaster. and others.

* Daily Inventory Cycle Counting

* Transitioning inventory locations physically

* Accurate ERP (JDE) System transactions

* System transactions utilizing bar codes

* Pack/unpack material for internal or external transit

* Assembles kits for production and issues material

* Accurate material receipt

* Follows first-in-first-out (FIFO) material rotation

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**

* Certificate from college or technical school or two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

**OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:**

* This job requires compliance with ITAR Regulations, will need to meet citizenship requirements of U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident

* Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, file directory navigation, ERP navigation, etc.)

* Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Ability to read and understand procedures

* Effective verbal and written communication skills

* Desired knowledge of inventory practices

* Desired experience with MRP/ERP systems, JDE experience a plus

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
