Apply now!!!Recruitment, Relocation, Retention and Student Loan Incentives may be authorized.Roster may be used to fill like vacancies for the next 120 days.Salary Range ($86,962-$134,435) YearlyJob Open Date 12/3/2024Job Close Date 12/10/2024The primary duty of this position is to serves as a lead IT program manager and senior subject matter expert, researching, developing, and recommending new and innovative corporate policies, practices, and processes for the management of Cybersecurity. Performs official team lead duties over subordinate employees overseeing projects, assignments and studies encompassing Cybersecurity. Program development and oversight includes one or more of the following: Cybersecurity. Facilitates the implementation of critical software fixes and improvements for weapon systems to support MAJCOMS and the warfighter. Performs certification and verification for software builds to provide the warfighter with critical operational capability and assists in integration of system equipment to ensure design performance and compatibility. Assists the System Program Offices (SPO)s with analyzing and prioritizing software changes, requirements, resources, planning, security assistance and provides support to resolve other critical management issues. Prepares workload budget inputs for customer budgeting and requirements identification. The section is also responsible for the cyber operation services to include Information Assurance, Software Assurance, Network Administration, and general Information Technology (IT) support.Qualifications:- U.S. Citizenship- Obtain & maintain Top Secret Security clearance- This is a designated Drug Testing Position- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)- Position may be eligible for Referral Bonus programRecruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:1. Leadership ability, including the ability to coach, mentor, inspire, motivate, guide, and challenge team members toward goal accomplishment and the ability to adapt leadership style to a variety of situations.2. Knowledge of a wide range of computer system theories, concepts, principles, and practices, procedures, policies, standards, operational requirements, and the ability to relate to user requirements.3. Specific in-depth knowledge of computer system security policies, technology, threats, and issues to include knowledge of IT INFOSEC security requirements for certification and accreditation, network operations and protocols, systems testing and evaluation, and performance management methods sufficient to plan and conduct security accreditation reviews for installed systems or networks and assess and advise on new revised security measures and countermeasures based on the results of accreditation reviews.4. Knowledge of operational and performance characteristics of computer systems to develop procedures/ policies, practices for use.5. Knowledge of performance characteristics of computer equipment, systems, services, and transmission media to evaluate new devices, proposals, and approaches.6. Knowledge of associated methods and techniques such as contracting procedures/legal requirements, cost analyses, and budgets7. Ability to develop and conduct training on information security.8. Ability to analyze a variety of unusual computer conditions, problems, questions or conditions associated with formulating projects or studies.9. Ability to research patterns to develop new methods, criteria, or proposed new computer policies and procedures.10. Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties. A waiver of this six-month requirement may be granted per DoD 8570.01-M, C3.2.4.2 or C3.2.4.3.
