This role is perfect for the individual who approaches their work in a professional manner and who loves to lead a dynamic team.

**Summary**

Lead a small team of individuals to load various glass and aluminum products onto trucks for delivery to customers. Qualified employee will be responsible for locating and loading products to be shipped, as well as accurately completing a shipping manifest by computing the correct number of packages.

***$20/hour with a $2/hour shift differential pay!***

Flexibility with schedule is preferred. Shift will work evenings on week days and daytime hours on weekends.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

* Use work orders to locate shipments in the packaging departments throughout warehouse

* Inspect products for any visual defects

* Work with a partner to properly and safely load material onto trucks by hand, and by using carts or a loader dolly to move the material

* Ensure product is loaded to the correct truck by reviewing work orders provided by management

* Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers

* Work safely and adhere to all policies and procedures

**Requirements**

* Must have 6 months 1 year experience in a lead role

* Must be able to use a computer to complete basic tasks such as data entry

* Must be detail-oriented to match work orders to the products needing shipped

* Must be able to wear required safety gear, which includes a hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut resistant pull-over and gloves that are all provided. Steel toe shoes with metatarsal protection are also required but not provided up front.

* Must be able to work well with a team to complete the necessary duties

**Physical Requirements**

* Must be able to stand, lift, bend, twist, walk, push, pull, and reach frequently

* Must be able to perform heavy work, exerting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis

* Must be able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled (protection from the weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes), as well as inside covered truck trailers to load the product

* Must have close visual acuity to perform assigned tasks
