Our inpatient chemical dependency treatment program is currently seeking a full-time LPN to work in the Nursing Department. Schedule:Week 1- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 7am-3:30pmWeek 2- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday - 7am-3:30pmResponsibilities include but are not limited to: •Assist the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor with staffing and scheduling. •Train new LPNs and Nursing Assistants. •Ensure that medical charts are completed by the end of each shift. •Identify any issues within the Nursing department and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor to address them. •Work with other departments to ensure optimal patient care. Requirements: •Minimum of one year in nursing. •Mental Health, Substance Abuse Facility, or Correctional Facility experience preferred. •Must be computer literate, prior experience with electronic medical records preferred. •Graduate of an accredited nursing program. •Current NYS LPN License. •CPR required.
