The Lead Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Assists engineering teams in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as independently performing defined tasks. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.

You will work independently and in conjunction with an engineering team a 100,000 square foot Class A medical office building in Denver, CO.

Schedule: 8 Hours – First Shift – Onsite

Salary: Starting Pay Range is $28.85 - $31.25 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
  • Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure cleaning, minor plumbing repairs, locksmith work, tenant services requests and general maintenance
  • General interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems
  • Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts
  • Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested
  • Perform assigned property inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them
  • Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
  • Maintain a clean safe work environment and compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws
  • This role may be required to work alone or with a team
  • Other projects and tasks to be assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
  • Trade school, union training, military service or college is desirable
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
  • Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or drive
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and provide feedback/updates to management team
