POSITION SUMMARY:The Lead Mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required in order to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.

Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities:
- Responsibly follow all procedures & policies with regard to repairs & maintenance.
- Responsible to complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner.
- Works in conjunction with operations to keep equipment operating at a high level of efficiency.
- Ability to notify lead Engineer of any mechanical problems and assist with any repairs
- Projects and tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance
- Construction type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.)
- Assist with inventory control
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience with equipment repair
- Must have Massachusetts Firemen's License, or ability to obtain license within (3) months from hire date, company will provide assistance)
