- Proactively monitor the health of the fleet, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
- Coordinate timely and efficient repairs and maintenance to minimize fleet downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed, helping to extend the lifespan and reliability of the fleet.
- Oversee smooth shift transitions by providing detailed updates and ensuring a clear handover of responsibilities between shifts.
- Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring continuity of operations and rapid resolution of any arising issues.
- Prepare detailed and accurate shift reports, outlining activities, challenges, and resolutions.
- Share critical information with senior management, keeping them informed on fleet status, operational progress, and any issues that require attention.
- Assess the strengths and development areas of team members and provide ongoing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Identify opportunities for skill enhancement and collaborate in designing and delivering effective training programs that drive team performance.
Profile
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in technical team management, ideally within the AV or EV industries.
- Proven expertise in managing maintenance teams and ensuring high levels of operational efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with fleet management and maintenance best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet management systems, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to resolving operational challenges.
- Proficient in identifying potential risks and communicating with senior management to escalate critical issues as needed.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing, motivating, and developing diverse teams.
- Skilled in fostering a collaborative, solution-focused team culture that values accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
