Overview:

Our client, one of the largest Energy companies in the US, seeks an accomplished Lead Mechanical Engineer for a 24-month contract with the possibility of extension. The position requires in-house mechanical engineering expertise to respond consistently and efficiently to normal, emergency, and critical projects.

• Direct or perform specific engineering assignments of various sizes or complexities
• Coordinate efforts among architects, engineers, users, and consultants
• Engineer and design projects to support the Capital and Operations & Maintenance budgets
• Provide engineering support for various types of commercial building/yard mechanical systems
• Review and approve contractor designs, calculations, and submittals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 8 years of experience in design and application of engineering principles
• Preferred Education/Experience: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 6 years of relevant experience
