Follow all OSHA, EPA and ODH policies and procedures Follow all company and site specific safety and health program policies. Actively participate in accident/incident investigations. Ensure the compliance of Subcontractors as it pertains to OSHA standards and company Pre-qualification guidelines. Immediately notify the Safety Department and Senior Management of all accidents, injuries, and near misses. Job Knowledge – Understands and has experience with the work performed. Work according to and ensure others work according to the Project Blueprint specifications when applicable. Experience with fencing and miscellaneous metals product offering. Reads and competently interprets shop drawings and specifications. Operates forklifts. Never compromise safety or quality. Competent welding and fabricating steel, aluminum, stainless steel, bronze and other metals. Experience with forging metals. Understands production tracking. Quantity of Work – Amount of time to complete assigned work. Competently completes tasks with minimal over site after directions are given. Challenges self and team to beat production goals. Plans work for self and others. Quality of Work – Accuracy and neatness of work performed and supervised. Doesn't walk away from problems. Doesn't accept subpar work or cover up mistakes if quality is compromised. Has sense of ownership and satisfaction of job well done. Doesn't compromise quality for speed. Accepts responsibility for mistakes and works to correct and educate others. Instills sense of ownership and pride with crew. Initiative – Demonstrates ability to develop and carry out new ideas or methods. Train and lead team members to achieve above baseline productions while maintaining quality and safety. Take proactive measures and look ahead to plan for next steps and tasks. Actively looks for new technologies and methods to improved installation process. Starts next task without need for direction. Cooperation – Works well with others. Communicate positively w/ internal company personnel. Must portray effective communication styles thru meetings, phone calls, text messages, and emails across all parties noted. Maintain positive and constructive tone thru all intra and inter-company interactions. Professionally reports issues to designer, and estimator when mistakes are found in the field. Contributes to lessons learned and best practices. Adaptability – Adapts to change and new ideas. Able to adapt to new construction methods, tools, processes and procedures. Understand and adapt to diverse employees, backgrounds and experiences. Ability to overcome change and integrate changes into new processes. Shifts priorities of workload to meet changing demands. Moves staff to appropriate projects to efficiently utilize resources while meeting customer expectations. Judgment – Ability to assess situations and make proper decisions. Attendance – Adheres to scheduled work hours. Personal punctuality and arriving and working scheduled assigned/scheduled shift. Report attendance issues daily of those supervised if applicable.
