New Rates - Free Onsite Parking and $15,000 Sign ON Bonus! Operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images. Assists with procedures performed in the modality. Assures efficient, patient oriented assignment of duties in day-to-day operations. Assists clinical supervisor with annual employee performance appraisals. Performs all activities according to federal, state, local regulations and hospital policies. Helps supervise the staff in their area in the performance of the above duties under the direction of the clinical supervisor. Orients new employees. Assesses technologist competencies in all patient care functions. Assists with development and documentation of imaging standards. Serves as a liaison between radiology, other departments and the community. Assists in the interview and selection process for new staff. Assures proper staffing levels in the department in cooperation with the clinical supervisor. Participates in the MRI Quality Improvement program under ACR standards and on interdepartmental task forces as requested. Performs procedures in accordance with standards and applicable state and national licensure and regulation. Qualifications o Three years modality experience preferred. o Supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills. o Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred. A.
