Job Description:
Job Summary The Lead .NET Developer will be responsible for leading the development of applications from front-end to back-end layers. This role involves working with stakeholders to understand user requirements, designing and building applications, writing web APIs, and ensuring the performance and security of databases. The Lead Developer will also be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and writing technical documentation. This position requires a strong ability to work independently as well as collaborate with technical and business teams. The role includes ensuring compliance with Client standards and addressing defects and enhancements during the application support lifecycle.Key Responsibilities •Understand user requirements and write clean, maintainable code from front-end to back-end. •Participate in design and review sessions to align with best practices. •Build visually appealing front-end applications following design guidelines. •Write effective web APIs using .NET Core technologies. •Write unit tests to ensure bug-free code and maintain high-quality standards. •Write database scripts and ensure optimal query performance. •Troubleshoot, debug, and remediate defects and issues in the applications. •Create technical documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge transfer. •Work independently to meet deadlines and project goals. •Collaborate with technical and business teams to meet project requirements. •Document Standard Operating Procedures and perform knowledge transfer. •Address defects and enhancements as part of the application support lifecycle. •Align Client compliance standards with design, architecture, and application framework. •Participate in incident resolution post-implementation when required. Required Qualifications •Proven experience in .NET development, including front-end and back-end layers. •Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, and Web API. •Experience in front-end development using jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS/LESS. •Familiarity with third-party controls like Telerik/Infragistics and Razor Pages. •Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure (App Insights, Service Bus, Functions, Redis Cache, Blob Storage). •Proficiency in using Git/TFS, Azure DevOps, and JIRA for version control and project management. •Experience in writing unit tests using XUnit/NUnit. •Solid understanding of SQL Server, T-SQL, and writing complex SQL and stored procedures. •Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. •Excellent communication and documentation skills. •Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications •Familiarity with Docker and Docker Desktop for containerized applications. •Knowledge of IIS and related web hosting technologies. •Experience with MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio. •Prior experience working in compliance-driven environments such as Client standards.
