Position Title: Lead of Membership Operations

Status: 32 - 35 hours, Non-Exempt

Reports to: Chief Experience Officer

Salary Range: $19 per hour

Lead of Membership Operations plays a major role in recruiting new members and retaining existing members at Dwares JCC. Customer service is the primary responsibility for this role, making sure members' needs are met. Lead of Membership Operations does this by providing tours, assisting with membership applications, and handling membership requests. The successful candidate will possess the ability to deliver excellent customer service and the ability to work with a team focused on creating an excellent member experience, from first contact on.

Minimum Qualifications:

Membership Recruitment and Retention

* Process feedback from members and share feedback with Chief Experience Officer and other relevant staff.

* In collaboration with Aquatics and Fitness staff, track member usage of facilities and follow up with members that have not frequented facility.

* Review member data and contact members with information that may be of interest to them based on the information they provided.

* Support the Chief Experience Officer as needed.

Membership Administration

* Create data reports as necessary using Membership CRM and other relevant data systems.

* In collaboration with other Membership Department staff, manage member locker assignments for general members and health club members.

* Conduct ongoing review of outstanding balances with Accounting Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Schedule, provide, and follow up on tours to prospective members.

* Work with new members to fill out membership applications, enter their data into membership CRM, and follow up on internal and external onboarding process.

* Process membership renewals, cancellations, and changes to membership status.

* Follow up within 24 hours to members and prospective members who call or e-mail with questions.

* In collaboration with the Chief Experience Officer, develop a vision for and process scholarship requests for new members.

* Maintain all pertinent membership and supporting documents such as registration agreements, enrollment forms and all other related paperwork.

* Replenish program materials throughout the building to make sure ample supply.

* Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience with the Alliance's core values and a clear commitment to them.

* Strong customer service orientation.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Data entry skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and database programs required.

* Knowledge of membership development principles and practices.

* Ability to compile data reports.

* Ability to work closely with others in a team environment and effectively interact with all levels of management, community leaders, donors, and volunteers.

* Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.

Salary:

$25,000 - $35,000
