Job Description:

As Lead People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) for Gilbarco-Veeder Root you will provide strategic HR leadership and expertise to business leaders and line managers on the people-related matters affecting their business. You will provide labor and employee relations support on-site for the Greensboro, NC manufacturing facility and will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including organization and leadership development, organizational design, change management, compensation administration, talent acquisition, and employee and labor relations.

You will also add value by partnering with business clients and peer business partners to provide innovative P&C solutions focused on driving success and achieving business objectives. This position will be based on-site at Gilbarco Veeder-Root's corporate headquarters in Greensboro, NC, supporting the Operations function.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

+ Strategic Partnership: Operate as a lead business partner on-site, understanding the organization's strategies, goals, objectives, and financial performance. Build ongoing relationships with leaders, managers, and stakeholders to drive key HR strategies and initiatives that support operational and strategic goals.

+ Leadership Coaching: Partner with and coach leadership on talent management, talent reviews, succession planning, organizational design, compensation, and change management.

+ Labor Relations Management: Establish and maintain effective labor-management relations, develop and administer the Company's labor relations policy and strategy under senior leadership's guidance. Represent management in labor relations matters, including the negotiation, interpretation, and administration of collective bargaining agreements.

+ Complex Problem Solving: Provide leadership and counsel to management on CBA-related issues. Lead the organization through difficult labor relations activities and investigations while developing and training line management on effective investigation and corrective action procedures.

+ Grievance Process Leadership: Oversee and administer all activities supporting the grievance processes. Represent the Company in grievance-related hearings on-site and at off-site grievance panels and/or arbitrations (out-of-state travel required).

+ Talent Acquisition Strategy: Drive effective talent acquisition strategies and processes to meet business demands. Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to assist with screening and interviewing candidates, managing the interview process, and providing guidance throughout the talent acquisition cycle.

+ HR Support: Provide hands-on support to employees and managers utilizing various HR systems, tools, processes, and policies.

+ Professional Development: Identify and support the professional learning and development of the Operations team (salary and union associates).

+ Employee Experience Enhancement: Develop and implement programs designed to enhance the employee experience.

+ Performance Measurement: Measure and monitor key HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Develop countermeasures and action plans to drive KPI performance.

+ Policy Implementation: Define and implement company policies and practices, ensuring legal compliance and consistent application.

+ Environmental Compliance: Ensure awareness of significant environmental aspects and compliance obligations within operations and ensure appropriate controls are in place.

**WHO YOU ARE**

+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

+ At least 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience (required), preferably in a manufacturing environment.

+ At least 5+ years of union/labor relations experience (required).

+ Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with HRIS, Payroll, and ATS systems.

+ Demonstrated experience working independently in a highly decentralized, process-oriented environment, with the ability to resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and often complex environment.

+ Ability to manage multiple workstreams and execute with high attention to detail.

+ Strong written/oral communication, effective presentation and facilitation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.

+ Proven problem-solving abilities with the capacity to implement effective solutions.

+ **Experience with process orientation and familiarity with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.**

+ Additional post-degree certifications, training, and education in Labor Relations are preferred and Master's degree in a related field preferred

+ SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
