Come join our team!The Lead Person under limited supervision, directs and guides the essential job functions of department or shift employees.* Instruct and direct work activities of employees in assigned work area(s).* Train and direct the activities of production employees, maintaining effective communication of customer needs/requirements and company goals.* Keep close track of work in progress and regularly confer with production and/or management staff.* Operate controls and monitor heat-treating equipment as needed/required.* Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping.* Independently operates, controls and monitors heat treating equipment as required and written in procedures on shop traveler and/or customer paperwork* Prepares work for processing; loads and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, etc.* Brings any unusual problem or irregularity to the attention of supervisor.* Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.* Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position* This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer's inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage* Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticismWe are Seeking Candidates with the following qualifications:* This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.* Education - High school diploma or equivalent.* Minimum 3+ years' experience in heat treating or related industry.* Must be able to read and follow blueprint/specifications.* Must have the ability to supervise, direct, and motivate employees.* Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.RSRBODY
