Title: Lead Petroelum Lab Analyst
Schedule: Onsite, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 (bonus potential, dependent on company performance)

Job Overview:
The Assistant Lab Manager will support laboratory operations and staff supervision. In collaboration with the Lab Manager, you will ensure the Branch Manager is informed of any issues related to laboratory testing, equipment status, and the accuracy of test data and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and delegate tasks to lab technicians and supervisors, managing all analytical testing operations.
- Collect, compile, and verify laboratory test data, ensuring accurate documentation of all customer samples.
- Evaluate and review quality control results to ensure efficient workflows and proper functioning of testing equipment.
- Train laboratory analysts and act as a point of communication between lab technicians, the Lab Manager, and Operations.
- Assist in preparing corrective and preventive action reports for QA/QC issues, maintaining detailed records for review, and following up on non-conformance items.
- Investigate potential preventive actions and implement suitable corrective steps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in petroleum industry lab operations, or an associate degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven managerial experience and strong interpersonal skills.
- Technical expertise and theoretical knowledge of laboratory operations.
