Job Description:

We are an elite oral surgery practice that has a commitment to exceptional care for patients and first-class service to our referring doctors. We are looking for a fun, hardworking, compassionate team player to help us grow the practice and continue to serve the Lincoln and surrounding communities with all their oral surgery needs. Previous healthcare experience a plus but not required.

Our Lead Practice Ambassadors serve as the first impression in our patients experience by providing remarkable customer service primarily via phone, with occasional in-person patient care. Practice Ambassadors also offer a variety of patient care and office duties as described below.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist the PA Manager with providing oversight of the team and training
  • Assist the PA Manager with coordinating with Regional Directors/Practice Admins to onboard new practices and ensure information is received to provide call support
  • Assist with leading biweekly huddles
  • Review reports and compile data to share with the team and process owners
  • Help organize team recognition and celebration events
  • Being a point of contact when PA Manager is out of the office
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, collect patient financial responsibility and ensure all information is collected in the patients chart.
  • Provide concierge level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone or via electronic communication.
  • Answer the phone promptly with a smile.
  • Schedule for multiple practices based on each doctors preferences.
  • Schedules appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of exam and treatment rooms.
  • Make outbound calls to patients being referred for procedures.
  • Manage patient calls regarding post operative and billing questions.
  • Maintains professional relationship with referring offices.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of customer service experience required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of dental terminology.
  • Friendly, inviting, and professional personality and presence.
  • Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
