The Lead Process Operator (LPO) provides on-shift operational leadership/support for their assigned line and reports to a Machine Crew Leader (MCL). The LPO is directly responsible for developing the plan of the day and executing the plan for their assigned line. A qualified candidate can prioritize resources/problems, works well under pressure, is motivated to develop and grow and drive a positive culture to deliver results, while providing direction and coaching to their team.

In this role, you will:
Facilitate shift hand-off meeting with oncoming peer/team
Advise Machine Crew Leader on team training needs and working with MCL to coordinate all training of new hire/transitional employees, reporting on the line, that are not certified in position.
Participate with on shift problem solving, as needed.
Work closely with Process Specialists to document and train assigned Process Operators.
Understands asset theory of operations and can troubleshoot process issues during upset conditions and be able to follow shut-down/start-up procedures.
Can make adjustments and/or repairs to equipment and has basic understanding and troubleshooting skills to engage appropriate resources while following escalation process.
Support reliability and cost improvements such that productivity and maintenance spending meet or exceed budgeted expectations.

In one of our manufacturing roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate
3+ years of hands-on process/leadership in a manufacturing environment
Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills
Are able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening
Adhere to all Quality Requirements including strict Gowning and Hygiene requirements.
Must be able to wear the required PPE while performing tasks
Must be able to lift 40 pounds twice each hour.
Ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and ramps.
Perform bending, twisting, stooping, and crouching movements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in an FDA regulated facility
Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
