Come join our team The Lead Production Technician, leads the production technicians to successfully complete the daily production plans in a safe and efficient manner, and directs sanitation efforts to keep equipment, plant, and grounds presentable. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate numbers from the plant through inventory validation and finished loads. A Class III Steam Engineer or IV Boiler Fireman Certification is required. Starting Hourly Rate: $31-$35 an hour depending on experience Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 6am to 2:30pm Directs and schedules daily production activities including raw material receiving and finished product shipments. Reviews and confirms daily production numbers. Performs daily facility inspections and conducts procedure audits. Coordinates Maintenance activities of basic preventive maintenance and equipment repairs. Expiates equipment repair when necessary. Leads the production team to develop and recommend new production techniques to increase yields, minimize breakdowns and maintain finish product quality to maximize the value of the finished product. Enforces company, environmental and safety policies of compliance. Practice proper PPE compliance and maintains a safe working record and environment. Maintains an open line of communication with collections to provide consistent raw material flow to develop the most efficient coordinated practices resulting lower cost for collection and processing. Verifies and submits monthly production reports to management with observations and recommendations. Qualifications and Requirements: A Class III Steam Engineer or IV Boiler Fireman Certification. 3-5 years manufacturing experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills: excel/word experience required. HS Diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred). Strong analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, detail focused, organized and dependable. Ability to lift, push and pull up to at least 100lbs. Team player and multitasker. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, kneel, climb ladders and squat for extended periods. Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet, in confined spaces, and in adverse temperatures and weather conditions.
