Job Description:
Duties: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Proficient in interpreting business requirements and adept at crafting precise, thorough test cases. Skilled in estimating, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing efforts. Regularly engage in and contribute to all scheduled business meetings. Create, implement, and run automation test scripts utilizing open-source tools. Automation Testing with Java Coding. Establish automation frameworks from the ground up for regression suite. Ensure comprehensive test automation coverage. Strong analytic ability to document and troubleshoot defects - Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects. Perform extensive regression testing upon defect resolution. Analyze test results and produce comprehensive reports of findings & recommending actionable improvements. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to products and processes. Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Collaborate and Support UAT activities with business users. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Required Qualifications: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working on complex projects with two (2) or more years in a leadership role as a Testing Analyst that includes preparing documentation, reviews, and approvals of test results from key stakeholders using industry standard methods. Minimum of seven (7) years of client focused quality assurance managing testing across multiple high-profile projects, with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization. Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing test plans, test cases, tracking defects and developing automated tests, preferably in a software development environment. Minimum of five (5) years of experience with tools such as Jira, Jira-related plug-ins or Application Lifecycle Management/Quality Center as the defect tracking and test planning tools. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an HHS or DOH or State Projects. Experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies on Iterations in SDLC. Experience with Accessibility Testing, Load Testing & Performance Testing. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills - Quick problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently. Mandatory to be 50% onsite in Albany, NY - no exception, Locals or relocation preferred. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of experience with configuring automated testing using tools such as Selenium or Katalon Studio or related tools. Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading and managing functional test planning and test execution activities with a focus on Health and Human Service domain. Bachelors/Master's degree with coursework in Information Technology, Business or Public Administration, Project Management and/or Communications.
