Summary:To assist administrator/manager in operational direction (including both clerical and clinical functions) of a Children's Health Medical Group (CHMG) practice. Working in collaboration with the practice manager. Working in collaboration with the practice manager, the Team Leader develops strategies, sets objectives and allocates appropriate resources in providing the highest quality of care, a safe patient environment, efficient patient flows and excellent service to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:* Assists in the operations of a practice; ensure compliance with standards of clinical care; maintain accountability for quality, safety, service, and operational excellence* Works closely with CHMG operational leadership, medical directors, physician providers and other clinical staff in a collaborative approach to excellence in service and clinical care, optimal outcomes, and efficient resource utilization* Develop and support processes designed to engage all staff in the pursuit of operational and service excellence; regularly reviews patient satisfaction data and analyzes for opportunities; involve staff and providers in developing a plan for improvement when necessary* Monitor and analyze all performance improvement and quality data; proactively address performance/quality issues including a thorough review with physician leaders for resolution* Review, analyze and collaboratively resolve operational issues, including staff and patient family concerns under the direction of the practice manager as required* Assists the practice manager in building and leading a productive staff* Monitor supplies to help insure adequate inventory levels for daily practice operations and ensure financial stewardship of clinic resources* May assist in completion of job functions when the practice experiences staff shortages* Responsible for working with administration / manager in completion of office / departmental goals as determined by operational leadership
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You may be required to float occasionally to other Children's Health locations including Dallas, Plano and THD Clinics.(sStart time hours can be discussed during interviews)
